Designed as a low cost solution to recovering, consolidating and transferring Sulfur Hexafluoride, the AGTU is an essential tool for servicing small volume SF₆ equipment.

Features:

Rugged steel enclosure.
Regulated inlet for direct connection to high-pressure bottles without throttling.
High discharge pressure for liquefaction in high ambient temperatures.
Can be used with SF₆ tanks, bottles or carts.
Automatic shut off when maximum allowable pressure is reached.
High pressure, direct-drive oil-less compressor with 1000:1 compression ratio (capable of1000psi – 69 bar).
Comes complete with 9.8ft / 3m hoses and power cable.
Filters are easily changed without disconnecting any tubing or using any special tools.
Colour change moisture indicator to monitor moisture in gas.
Purifies, dries and filters to 0.1 microns during recovery and re-pressurization:
(D1) - Dryer Filter - Contains activated alumina to aid in the drying and purification of SF₆ Gas.
(F1) - Particulate Filter - Will filter all particulate matter down to 0.1 micron nominal.

Applications:

Recover SF₆ gas to an optionally available auxiliary storage tank.
Pressure regulated recharging of SF₆ gas to switch gear.
Consolidation of storage cylinders.
Purification of SF₆ (removes particles,moisture, and SF₆ decompositionproducts).
