Ohm, law of

Relationship between voltage and current in a conductor: their ratio is a constant called resistance.

In a conductor through which passes an electric current, the quotient between the potential difference applied to the ends of the conductor and the intensity of the current flowing through it, is a constant quantity that depends on the conductor which we call resistance. This law verifies the relationship between voltage and current in a resistor.
