Nine models from 200 to 12 000 litres per hour
Vacuum oil-purifier series
Dehydration, degasification and filtering of insulating oil by high vacuum.
Product overview
Degasification in a single pass
The AEHV introduces the oil into a vacuum chamber where water, dissolved gases and volatile contaminants are removed. Chemically inert accelerator cartridges coalesce free water before it evaporates, expose a thin oil film to the vacuum across millions of 3-10 µm glass fibres, release gases quickly and retain solid particles — one pass replaces the several passes of older spray-and-baffle designs.
Performance
From 27 °C of oil temperature, water content falls from 50 ppm to below 5 ppm and dissolved air from about 12 % of saturation to below 0.25 %; the standard after-filter retains particles down to 0.5 µm. Optional Fullers Earth filters also remove oxidation products, dissolved varnishes, paints and acids.
Main features
- Unattended operation, suitable for work on energized equipment.
- Complete monitoring equipment available.
- Disposable accelerator cartridges, replaced in minutes.
- Nine models from 200 to 12 000 l/h, with Roots booster options.
- Skid, cargo-trailer, container or semi-trailer mounting up to 16 m.
Applications and configurations
Applications
- Degasification of transformer oil in extra-high-voltage transmission.
- Manufacture of electrical apparatus.
- Cable oils, including polybutenes.
- Oils for radar and electronic equipment, vacuum-pump sealing oils, brake fluids and refrigeration oils, including phosphate esters and silicones.
Built to order
Each unit is configured to the job: extra heater capacity or an outlet heater, diesel or gas boiler, on-board generator, Fullers Earth system (E575A series), inline dielectric tester or RGA, touchscreen MMI, remote monitoring with wireless emergency dial-out, TOLMS oil-level monitoring, explosion-proof EEx or NEMA 7 execution and a full stainless steel option, among others.
