The VIPO-85 applies a regulated DC voltage of 1 to 85 kV, in 1 kV steps, to the vacuum interrupter and measures the leakage current, showing a clear PASS or FAIL against user-set limits of 100, 200 or 300 µA. It follows the ANSI/IEEE standardised DC test methods, and all cables remain connected inside the rugged IP67 case between jobs.
Also a compact DC hipot
In HiPot mode the instrument displays kV, µA and TΩ with a continuous 85 kV / 300 µA rating and a stop limit adjustable from 25 to 300 µA in 25 µA steps. The 4.3-inch ultra-bright touch display works with gloves, the unit is ready 2 seconds after power-up, and a built-in thermal printer documents the result on the spot.
