Fully automatic measurement of the breakdown voltage of insulating liquids.

Up to 100 kV, with no operator intervention

The Dielectrotest determines the dielectric strength of insulating oils with test voltages up to 100 kV. The standard is chosen from the menu, the set displays the required electrode type and spacing, and the whole sequence runs automatically.

A switch-off that protects the sample

After breakdown, the high voltage is disconnected in less than 1 ms, avoiding carbonisation of the oil; the set indicates the individual breakdown values, the average value and the standard deviation.

Main features

  • Pre-programmed national and international standards.
  • Up to 10 user-defined test sequences.
  • 400 ml glass test vessel with magnetic stirrer.
  • Mushroom, sphere or disc electrodes, with adjustable spacing.
  • Safety interlock on the chamber lid.
  • Electromagnetically shielded test chamber.

Software and reporting

A printed report after every test

The built-in thermal printer issues a report with the applied standard, date and time, sample temperature and number, the individual breakdown values, the average and the standard deviation. The last 20 tests remain in memory and can be retrieved and printed.

Results archived on the computer

The results are downloaded to the PC via Bluetooth or the RS-232 serial interface with the data capture software, which stores them in spreadsheet format; the operator configures his own test protocol formats.

Guidance in the operator's language

The backlit graphic display and the four keys F1 to F4 guide the operation through a multi-language menu, with a dialog for entering the sample temperature and number.
