Filtering, dehydration and degasification of insulating oil on a light cart.

High vacuum on a light cart

The AE865C filters, dehydrates and degasifies insulating and dielectric fluids using high-vacuum technology, with a blank-off rating below 0.025 mbar. It processes 230 litres per hour at 60 Hz and is sized for the oil of pole-mounted transformers, bushings, conservators and individual barrels.

Verified performance

Processed oil leaves with less than 10 ppm of water (ASTM D-1533 / D-1744, Karl Fischer) and a total gas content below 0.25 % (ASTM D-831 / D-2945); the dielectric strength of new oil reaches at least 40 kV by ASTM D-877. A 3 µm filter retains solid particles and the 3 kW heater keeps the oil at processing temperature.

Simple, supervised or not

Once connected, the unit runs unattended: the oil circulates through the heater, the vacuum chamber and the after-filter until the target values are reached. The optional vacuum controller automates the cycle, and the compact footprint keeps the cart usable in confined spaces beside the transformer.
