IRDL708 Series: thermal imaging cameras

IRDL708 Series: thermal imaging cameras

Portable 640 × 480 thermal imaging camera with IR-visible fusion

The IRDL708 Series delivers 640 × 480 thermography with a sensitivity of ≤ 0.02 °C and ranges up to +2000 °C, fusing infrared and visible images on a large rotating touchscreen.

Advantages

High resolution without cooling
The uncooled 640 × 480 FPA microbolometer resolves 0.65 mrad per pixel with a thermal sensitivity (NETD) of ≤ 0.02 °C at 30 °C, over the 8-14 µm band.

Fusion with the visible image
A 5 MP CMOS camera with LED light documents each scene: infrared and visible frames are fused on screen and stored linked, picture-in-picture included.

Ranges for heavy industry
Standard measurement covers −40 °C to +650 °C, extendable to +1200 °C or +2000 °C for foundry, metallurgy and combustion work.

Rich on-screen analysis
Up to 10 movable areas with maximum, minimum and average values, 5 lines, profiles, isotherms and temperature difference, with voice and colour alarms.

Connected documentation
H.264 or radiometric video recording, 40 s voice notes, user text, network interface for real-time transmission and PAL/NTSC video output.

Applications

  • Inspection of electrical installations and substations.
  • Power plants, railway and petrochemical industry.
  • Metallurgy, construction and scientific research.

About the product

Frequently asked questions

What does IR-visible fusion provide?
Both images overlay on screen and are stored linked, so each thermal finding is documented with its visual context and located faster.

Which temperature ranges are covered?
From −40 °C to +650 °C as standard; optional calibrations extend measurement to +1200 °C or +2000 °C.

How are results documented?
Radiometric JPEG images and MPEG-4/H.264 video with 40 s voice notes and user text; data transfers via network interface or video output.

Is it suitable for field work?
Yes. It weighs 1.75 kg, offers IP54 protection, works from −15 °C to +50 °C and runs 3 h per battery charge.
