Handheld thermal imaging camera, affordable, rugged and easy to use
The IRDL700 is a handheld thermal imaging camera with an uncooled FPA microbolometer of 384x288 pixels, designed for transformation centres, petrochemical plants, scientific research, the metallurgical industry and building inspection.
Advantages
High image quality at low cost
384x288-pixel detector, spatial resolution of 0.88 mrad and thermal sensitivity of 0.06 °C or better at 30 °C, with a 640x480 colour LCD screen and 9 interchangeable palettes.
Wide temperature ranges
Measures from -20 °C to +500 °C as standard, optionally extendable up to 1200 °C or 2000 °C, with an accuracy of +/-2 °C or +/-2 % of the reading.
Simple handling
Single-button operation, manual or automatic focus, 1 to 8x continuous electronic zoom and optional remote LCD screens, wired or clipped onto the handle.
Complete measurement
Up to 10 movable points and 5 movable areas, line profile, isotherms, temperature difference and sound or colour alarm, with automatic emissivity and atmospheric transmission correction.
Applications
- Inspection of transformation centres and electrical switchgear.
- Predictive maintenance in petrochemical plants and the metallurgical industry.
- Scientific research and process control.
- Building inspection and thermal loss detection.
About the product
The body integrates a 300,000-pixel visible-light camera, a class 2 laser pointer (1 mW at 635 nm) to mark the measurement point, and optional wide-angle and telephoto lenses that widen or narrow the standard 16 by 12 degree field of view. Images, with 14-bit thermal data, are stored on the built-in flash memory or a 2 GB SD card, together with voice notes of up to 40 seconds, and are transferred to a PC via USB for analysis and inspection report generation.
It runs on a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, with 2 hours of continuous operation, an intelligent charger or optional power adaptor, and works between -15 °C and +50 °C with IP54 protection.
