Can the AMPI-530-IT test type B RCDs?
Yes. It measures the trip current IA of type AC RCDs (3.3 to 1000 mA, with ±5% IΔn), type A RCDs, also with a 6 mA DC bias (3.5 to 700 mA), and type B RCDs with direct residual current (2.0 to 1000 mA), the latter two with ±10% IΔn, as well as the trip time at 0.5, 1, 2 and 5 IΔn.
How many measurements does the AMPI-530-IT make on one battery charge?
More than 3000 loop or RCD measurements (at 6 per minute) and more than 1000 insulation or continuity measurements with the 4.8 V 4.2 Ah NiMH battery charged, or about 16 hours of recording.
